Novothink Solar-Powered Case for iPhone and iPod Touch

nt01-green-01This is one of the coolest cases we’ve seen around. If you spend a lot of time under the sun, why not charge up your iPhone at the same time! Meet Novothink’s new hybrid solar charger case for the iPod touch, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS.

Featuring an integrated solar panel on the cases’ rear, the Surge allows for solar charging of the attached iPhone or iPod touch with no other power supply required, and also offers LED battery status light indicators, a soft touch finish, a mini USB port for syncing or charging the attached device, an included cord for hanging the case from the user’s wrist, belt or backpack, and open access to the headphone jack, camera, screen, sleep/wake and volume buttons, and ring/silent switch.

Features:

  • Powerup while walking, running, hiking, or biking
  • State-of-the-art solar panel technology allows your iPhone 3G and 3G S to powerup with the power of the sun

I understand some people think that the device is ugly. I really think that people should be more concerned about how the device works. I’ve tested it myself and it works like a charm! I’m sure that Novothink will come out with a sleeker design in the future. Overall, it’s a great product!
