Notica App Gets FB Sharing With Single Sign-On, Backup Capabilities
Tel-Aviv, Israel – Cleversome Ltd today is pleased to announce the release of the first update to Notica, their visual memory iPhone and iPod touch app. Notica is a productivity app focused on attaching context to daily visuals, and has been featured on iTunes by Apple and received very positive reviews in leading Apple related blogs since its release in November 15, 2010. Notica complies with all generations of iPhone except 1st, and with iPod touch 4th generation, and priced $2.99. This update brings sharing capabilities to the meticulously designed app, along with full backup and restore functions and UI improvements.
“We’ve carefully implemented well anticipated features like Facebook sharing and full backup of your data, among other added options and settings. I say carefully, because we believe it takes more than learning a third party code like Facebook iOS integration to make it work for the user.” says Elazar Yifrach, Co-Founder of Cleversome and developer of Notica.
Since its release in Nov 15, 2010, Notica was featured by Apple on iTunes as “New and Noteworthy” in several countries, Named “A must have iOS app” by Cult of Mac for week of Nov 22 and received very positive reviews in MacStories and AppAdvice, all leading websites dedicated to Apple related news and reviews.
Notica is using the newly updated Facebook iOS SDK for iOS devices, allowing a user to sign in to Facebook once for the lifetime of the application and post content without going through the connection process again. Users can switch to other Facebook accounts within the application’s settings screen.
“When you tap to share a card you created with Notica on Facebook, You can immediately continue to browse or create other cards, or even go to other apps while the upload is done in the background if your device supports back-grounding. When you come back to the card you shared, you’ll be notified of the post. You can even share more cards consecutively, and they’ll be uploaded automatically.” says Moti Lev, Co-Founder of Cleversome and designer of Notica.
Backup in Notica is done using iTunes file sharing, a built in mechanism in iTunes allowing users to share files, in this case – full backups of their cards library, with their computer via iTunes.
