Vologda, Russia – Evetone Labs today is pleased to announce the release of Current 1.0. Current is an app for iPhone and iPod touch that allows its users to search Twitter in real time. It allows to create an array of saved searches and shows if new results have come in for them. Current searches among the very latest tweets, so events can be tracked as they happen.

Current supports sophisticated queries – any search can be given words to be included in the results, an exact phrase to be included and words to be excluded. It’s also possible to specify the language resulting tweets should be written in.

The app shows exactly how many new tweets have appeared since the user last saw them. This info is not only accessible on the main screen, any results screen has a number in the bottom right which indicates whether new tweets are available for a search other than the current one.

Any saved search can be assigned one of the predefined autorefresh intervals, so if new results for this particular search come in, they show up in the list of the results immediately. Manual reloading is also supported. Tweets can be dealt with by either emailing them or exporting them as text files to iTunes. Current recognizes when links are embedded in tweets, so that these links can be opened in Safari.

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
* Requires iOS 4.0 or later
* 0.6 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Current 1.0 is $1.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Social Networking category.
