Are you a Sons of Anarchy fan? If so, you may be interested to know Sons of Anarchy is now a universal app by Fox Mobile Entertainment, Inc. Sons of Anarchy, the television series, is currently broadcasted on FX Networks. Now, on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, you can access extra details about the crime drama series, such as in-depth stories, pictures, and exclusive bonus material.

Sons of Anarchy is an entertainment app that showcases the television drama series of the same name. The “Sons of Anarchy” refers to an outlaw motorcycle club with numerous chapters around the world, and the drama focuses mainly on the founding chapter, known as Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original (SAMCRO). SAMCRO (also nicknamed Sam Crow), which is located in Charming, California, was founded in 1967 by John Teller and Piermont “Piney” Winston.

In the Sons of Anarchy app, you can read all about the history of SAMCRO, including how they became linked with the IRA and Belfast, as well as John Teller’s backstory. You can also view bonus material, which contains deleted scenes from the television series, in the form of original scripts and pictures.

When initially downloaded, the app contains limited material. You may download further free “appisodes” within the app, and new appisodes are apparently made available every Monday and Wednesday (according to the Sons of Anarchy app description). Since I have never watched Sons of Anarchy, I was disappointed that I couldn’t find a single video. Even a trailer or snippets of scenes would make this app more complete. Right now, all you can do is read and browse through pictures. On a bright note, the app is easy to navigate.

Sons of Anarchy, an entertainment app for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, is currently available in the App Store for $0.99. If you’re fanatically following the drama series every week and will have trouble sleeping if you fail to gather every bit of information that you possibly can about Sons of Anarchy, then perhaps you had better shell out that dollar.

I am definitely a huge fan of Sons of Anarchy, but not a fan of Directv. I really feel sorry for Directv customers, because Directv’s contract with FOX is going to end soon which means that they will lose all FOX channels. I am happy to be a DISH Network customer/employee; at least I don’t have to worry about losing my all time favorite show like Directv customers. Hopefully they can get this figured out quickly before they have a lot of angry customer son their hands.
