appworldwebIt’s about time! The main drawback of the BlackBerry App World has always been the fact that apps have only been viewable from the Blackberries themselves. Now RIM has launched a web portal for it at appworld.blackberry.com allowing you to browse apps from the convenience of your desktop computer.

When you find an app that you like in the catalogue, you can email yourself the link to complete the purchase and download via the App World client on your Blackberry (you can’t purchase or download from the site). It’s not a full solution, but it is much better than trying to browse apps through the phone. So come check it out, the site really looks good!

Still a far shot from AppStore. But atleast something`s better then nothing.

Is there any way I can download the applications to my desktop and then copy it to my phone later on. The reason why I am asking is that I don't have an affordable data connection yet, and each MB is expensive. Any Suggestions?
