Just yesterday, The Windows Phone Developer Blog updated their site with a new post that revealed a couple interesting things. Brandon Watson, the author of this post, brought us up to speed on the developer buzz behind Windows Phone 7, and so far, Developer Tools downloads for Windows Phone 7 have exceeded 300,000 downloads. Especially, since the final version of Windows Phone 7 Developer Tools isn’t even out yet, this shows that developers are definitely psyched about the new OS and are gearing up for the official release.

Secondly, Watson gave an official launch date for the final version of Developer Tools; the download will be made available on September 16th for all members of Microsoft’s developer community to download.
