You really can’t find any docking stations as unique as Speakal’s. Their whole collection is amazing and innovative at the same time adding some variety instead of those boring rectangular docking stations. Recently added to that collection, the miSoccer is a docking station shaped like a traditional soccer ball. You can’t experience awesome until you’ve experienced it with the miSoccer!

Review

Speakal’s miSoccer is a full fledged docking station for the iPhone and the iPod Touch with a speaker and charging capabilities. Using the 30-pin connector, the station will connect to your device offering you with good sound quality. It takes the shape of a soccer ball, and with the end of the world cup recently passing, it’s a great way for you to celebrate Spain’s amazing victory.

The miSoccer stands up using four legs that can stand on a flat surface without trouble because of course it wouldn’t sit straight just like that!

What’s unique aside from the shape, is where the speakers on the device are located. If you’ve seen a picture of a traditional soccer ball, it has white pentagons and black pentagons. The black pentagons on the miSoccer are where the speakers are located, and I didn’t even notice until I started playing some music. The quality that the music is played in is pretty average, but is very good if you’re not looking for total high quality.

The miSoccer’s sound is customizable in bass and treble aspects. These can be adjusted via the included remote. The volume can be adjusted with the remote and via the touch buttons on the body of the station itself.

Like I said before, the miSoccer also charges your device which is not unexpected from most docking stations. Whenever you connect your device to listen to music, the miSoccer will automatically charge your device. So while spending hours and hours on listening to tunes with the great sound system, you won’t have to worry about your battery dying or having to charge your device.

Overall, the miSoccer is a great device to own. It isn’t too unique in terms of features, but the look and the object it was designed after makes it a one of a kind. It comes in three different color combinations which include red and white, black and white, and blue and white.

Recommendation

You could get docks cheaper than the $119.99 price tag on the miSoccer, but with those cheaper ones you won’t get the uniqueness of the design. I highly recommend it!
