Start with four basic elements—air, water, earth, and fire – and grow your world to one of humans, creatures, zombie, crazy weather conditions, and more while only combining two elements at a time. Playing the god role in Doodle God, the game allows you to be somewhat creative in your element combinations to create interesting outcomes.

The actual gameplay in Doodle God is somewhat limited. As I said earlier, you begin with four basic elements, and in combining two at a time you can slowly build your collection of elements and objects to construct more complex creations. Using your imagination, and even just guessing many different combos, crazier results occur as you get deeper into the game.

The unfortunate thing here is that replay value is pretty low for Doodle God. Once you unlock all combinations and elements, there is little left to do, and there is no benefit to rehashing old combos. For an impulse purchase, at only $0.99, this is a fun and addicting title that will have you even thinking about it when you’re not playing.

Tips

1. Try everything. Sometimes you’ll get little surprises here and there that you might not have expected to work. After you see the result, you’ll see how it worked and how the result made sense.

2. Look for the light bulb! Every few minutes, a light bulb on the bottom of the screen lights up. If you press that button, the game will suggest two subsets of objects for you to choose and create something you haven’t yet made.

I recommend this game for all ages and for anyone who wants a fun and addicting game for a rainy day, or during travel. Enjoy!
