Appmodo Launches Promo Code and Grand Prize Giveaway

appmodogiveawayHello Appmodo Readers! Today marks the beginning of our first promotional code and grand prize week long giveaway, which began today at 12:00AM PST and ends August 7, 2009 at 11:59 PM PST.

Each contestant has the chance to win a promotional code good for one (1) iPhone or iPod Touch application or our grand prize, a $20 dollar gift card sponsored by Gameloft.

Current prize applications as of August 4th include:

*Note some application developers have provided more promo codes than others. This results in a total of 58 possible winners for this giveaway. Additional applications and promo codes may be added.

How to enter- 2 EASY steps:

In order to participate in our giveaway you must do the following:

  1. Post 3 different “valid” comments that contribute to the site or article content. For example: comments that are short like “cool game!”, “great graphics” will be disqualified. Please contribute more than a few words. Please be sure to include a username and valid email address when posting! This will be used to verify your submissions!
  2. Reply to this story below stating your username and valid email address used when posting the comments.

Giveaway Rules:

  1. You must contribute at least 3 valid comments.
  2. You must reply to the main story stating your username and a valid email address.
  3. One entry per person. Duplicates will disqualify you from the contest.
  4. Each person may only win one (1) prize.
  5. Contest begins August 3, 2009 at 12:00AM PST and ends August 7, 2009 at 11:59 PM PST.
  6. Winners will be notified via the email address provided with each posted comment.
  7. Promo codes valid only in the United States.
  8. Appmodo is not responsible for any issues experienced with the promo codes, gift cards, their redemption, etc. If there is an issue we will notify the application developer and try to get the issue resolved.
  9. We recommend redeeming the promotional codes right away as they can expire after 30 days of being issued (that date is not determined as of when our giveaway is posted).

    Just noticed this. I only visited this blog via google reader and never really commented here. I was surprised to see edit options for your comments. Now I wont call myself an expert at this, but this is the first time I have seen this feature on blog comments. Kudos for the fantastic comment system :)

    If you guys can add smileys support to the comment system, it`ll be better then real forums. I have yet to see a such a well implemented way to comment on a blog. And no I m not saying this just for the promo codes, I mean it. I guess you`ll find out when u see me here months after your last promo codes giveaway(assuming you guys dont mess up with something real bad). :)
