If you haven’t heard already, iOS4 is now available to download via iTunes. There are over 100 new features in iOS4 and one of them is the orientation lock which locks your screen no matter how the phone is rotated? Read on to find out how.

In order to enable the orientation lock on your phone, simply double click the home button to bring up the multitask toolbar, and swipe to the right to access the iPod controls and the orientation switch. Tap the switch to lock the phone’s orientation. When the lock is activated you will see an icon next to the battery indicator (top right).

That’s it!
