CNET got a few minutes for a Q & A with Escher Auernheimer (also known as “Weev”) of Goatse Security, the hacker group behind the exposure of AT&T’s iPad user data security flaws.

The Goatse group is taking quite a bit of heat for the way they handled this situation, and why they attempted to penetration AT&T’s security in the first place. Auernheimer is asked some probing questions and opens up about what went down after AT&T’s weaknesses were exposed.

Since, AT&T has been fumbling to fix their security issues since this went public. Now, it seems the FBI is involved in a widespread investigation in this data breach.

More updates to follow, as news becomes available.
