Android users have been able to have a native free Google turn-by-turn navigation why can’t the iPhone? Many of the good navigation systems cost you at least $60.

MacUser is reporting that Google rather not keep the advantage they have with their operating system and let the other guy have it. They assume that they will make more money offering it to other platforms. In a press conference this morning held in the UK Google said:

to other smartphone platforms, including the iPhone.

They would not mention a date this is still a start.
