SGP’s anti-finger print shield looks like any other shield that is sold at your local Apple store…. The thing is, it’s not! This particular shield has a different texture then any other shield I have ever touched. I have tested out the “anti-finger print,” and it checks out good! The only thing you have to avoid is eating, and then touching your iPhone. Then there is a slight chance that it will leave a finger print.

In the package there are 2 shield’s, a micro-fiber fabric, and SGP’s own air bubble remover, I thought that was very nice, so I don’t have to take out an old card and make the bubbles go away!

Putting the shield on isn’t hard at all! All you have to do is follow the steps on the back of the package. 1. Clean LCD screen with the micro-fiber fabric. 2. Separate about half length of the film from its backing. -Be sure not to touch adhesive side. 3. Line up the exposed film with the top border of the screen, and slowly run the rest of the film across the screen. 3 easy steps, the whole procedure should take up to about 5 minutes. After you are done applying the shield on, take a look to see if there are any air bubbles on the screen. If so, take the air bubble remover, and gently make a swiping gesture towards the top, bottom, or sides of the iPhone. This will make the bubbles get out from under the shield. There may be some bubbles showing after you have tried removing them, they won’t stay for while they will just stay for a few days. Don’t get worried!

Another great part about this shield is, if you have a hard case, it doesn’t make air bubbles which I have seen on other shields. If you notice some white specs on your shield sometime after, all you have to do it get the cleaning cloth provided, and swipe them off. They are just dust particles. They come on most shields, but not all shields come off as easy as this one does. Some stick to the shield, but the good part about this one is, it isn’t sticky on the front so the dust won’t stay on.

Tips

1. Avoid eating, then touching the screen, because finger prints will be more likely to come.

Recommendation

I recommend this shield to anyone that doesn’t want to spend $15-$20 dollars on a shield, when you can get it for $10.00 alone.
