Pocket Tap brings a new perspective to playing games on the iPhone this game is a stealthy one in that it can be played while it’s in your pocket. This game does require vibration to use so iPod Touch players will not be able to purchase this app. If you are looking for a way to play a game to kill some time without anyone knowing that you are playing a game you will want to take a look at this app.

To play Pocket Tap all you have to do is open up the app and choose between the two different modes, easy and hard. Once you have chosen a mode you simply put the phone in your pocket and repeat what you feel with the vibrations. The game will vibrate in patterns that you must mimic by taping anywhere on the screen. When I first started to play this game, I cheated and played it out of my pocket and just looked at the screen, well that didn’t work to well. I actually sucked at the game until I put in my pocket where I had to focus more on the vibrations rather that what I saw on the screen. Once I was playing the game correctly, it turned out to actually be a pretty fun came and it was cool to be playing without anyone knowing.

You do have a few options to get a higher score. For the brave players who are think they are really good you can enable a few different game-losing sounds that will give you more points. What this does is if you lose a round instead of just starting over it will make an embarrassing noise like a frog or a squeaky fart. These can all be changed under the settings and added a fun option to this game plus you get a lot more points if you use one of the sound effects. This app preformed well and I had no issues and found no bugs.

Pocket Tap is currently $0.99 in the app store and comes recommended to anyone who is looking for a unique new game on their iPhone or in need of a game that they can play from their pocket without anyone else knowing.
