Lego iPhone Case and Stand Begs The Question Why

By on Mar 25, 2010 at 9:45 pm

I got a submission this evening from an Appmodo fan named “johnnyT23″ showing off his new creation. What is it?

It’s an iPhone case and stand built entirely of Lego bricks glued together, features “side grips” for your thumbs, and allows you to charge your iPhone or iPod Touch while “docked”. Johnny also noted that he will begin selling the iPhone version on eBay for $12.99 with a larger iPad version “in the works”. Pretty creative! Additional photos below.

I enjoyed fiddling with Lego when I was younger and in the last few months the games on ps3. I think that it has to be the greatest toy of all time. The great thing about it is the number of distinct ways it can be configured. This is a important example of how Lego can be used. I might even get my ageing Lego out now!
