There is a new trailer video out for an upcoming game called Deliverace that has some of the most amazing graphics I have seen on an iPhone/Android game if not the best. When you watch the video play close attention to the detail of not only the cars and trucks racing but the water moving down below, the trees and houses. From the look of the teaser video this game has graphics comparable to a PSP game. Take a look at the video and post your thoughts below, is it to good to be true? Will the end result be this good on your phone? The company making the game is a Swedish company called PixelBite and they currently have several games in development on several different platforms.
From PixelBite’s website:
“Deliverace mixes old-school racing with state of the art graphics and physics to take the genre to a whole new level. The spot-on game controls lets you powerslide through the highly detailed tracks, leaving skidmarks and chaos in your wake.”
# Possibly the most detailed 3D graphics yet seen on a mobile device.
# Advanced lighting and shadows affecting cars, objects, particles and tracks.
# 6 RWD cars with different drivers and characteristics.
# Proper 3D physics that makes you feel each bump in the road.
# Dirt Rally, Hot Lap and Delivery game modes.
# Multiplayer over LAN and Internet.
# Online leaderboards and downloadable ghost cars .
# Atmospheric banjo soundtrack by Instant Remedy.
# Developed by racing game veterans
No word on price or actual release date but in the video it says early 2010 and since we are nearly done with the first quarter I hope this app will be released soon. We will be keeping an eye on this app so stay tuned to Appmodo to find out when you can buy your copy.
