For those a little squeamish about bugs running rampant, this app may cure what ails you. Little Bugger for iPhone and iPod Touch provides you with a way to get some payback. Here’s your chance to squish as many of the little buggers as you can as they run across the screen.

Review
The premise of Little Bugger is easy. All you have to do is to squish as many of the little bugs running across the screen as you possibly can. Squishing different bugs allows you certain advantages. For instance, Hidden bugs will give you extra time, Shockwave bugs will kill all the other bugs on the screen if killed and the Splitter bugs will split into four smaller bugs which will give you more points if you get them.

There are two modes of play: Quick and Extended play. Quick play basically is designed to see how far you can go before you run out of time. Extended play has up to 16 levels. Little Bugger provides a High Scores board, achievements list, a game instructional guide and the ability to post your score on Twitter.

Little Bugger’s design is quite simple. It is a no-frills, fast moving game with clean animation that does a great job imitating the bugs’ movements as it scurries across the screen complimented by great in-game sound effects.

Recommendation
Little Bugger for iPhone and iPod Touch comes recommended to people who don’t mind squashing creepy crawlers running across the screen. Once you get over the bug fear factor, this game proves itself to be, not only fun and entertaining, but quite the challenge as well. Little Bugger is available now at the iTunes App Store for $1.99.
