Oceanhouse Media Creates Success Story Within 24 Hours
Their motto is “Apps that uplift, educate and inspire” and that is exactly what Oceanhouse Media did yesterday with the announcement of several Dr. Seuss iPhone applications that have made the podium in the App Store, all within 24 hours.
Getting your app into the top 100 list is a daunting task and for many developers, takes a while. Very few companies like EA Mobile and Gameloft are able to accomplish this repeatedly, as the App Store continues to be inundated with applications.
Oceanhouse Media’s President, Michel Kripalani, made a comment about the success “Our Dr. Seuss apps hit a viral nerve…We went to bed last night with 3 apps on the Top-100 chart”. Kripalani continued “I’m pretty sure that no one has ever done this with books rather than games”.
There are three apps from Oceanhouse Media that are sitting within the Top 100 charts. Dr. Seuss’s ABC at number 5, The Cat in the Hat at 17, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas! at 64. The company has also stolen the books category with their apps in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd spots.
Due to the great news, Oceanhouse have extended their $0.99 sale for the next coule of days.
