TigerText iPhone App Lets UK Users Delete Text Messages
TigerText is being marketed to business men and woman and professionals in the legal field but it’s already getting buzz and being described as the perfect for cheating spouses and drunken texter’s.
TigerText will allow UK iPhone users to set a time limit for messages. When the time’s up, the texts self-destruct and disappear from the original phone, the receiving phone and the network servers storing them.
One downside is that both parties involved in a text session must have the app installed on their iPhone. UK iPhone owners will be able to purchase the mobile app, which requires a monthly subscription of £1.60. The app is not yet currently available but is expected to hit the app store some time in April.
I find the name obviously funny and wonder if it will hurt its chances of approval. Currently it looks like this will only be available to UK customers. If made available in the US would you buy it?
