ATT Navigator, Voice Activated GPS for iPhoneAT&T launched another free iPhone application called AT&T Navigator, which is a subscription based voice activated turn by turn navigation program for the Apple iPhone. The application features voice guided 3D maps, automatic rerouting, map updates, real time traffic updates, search feature for gas prices, common business stops such as coffee houses, ATM machines, WiFi hotspots, and more.

The application is subscription based and will set you back $10 per month. This is somewhat expected through AT&T since nothing they offer is really “Free”. The Navigator app does mark a first time in history that the use of in-app payments have been allowed since the iPhone 3.0 software update.

No thanks, AT$T… I'll wait until there's a better option than having to give you MORE money every month.
