Many users of the iPhone and iPod Touch do not use all of the space provided to them. Why not use your device as a USB Drive?

FileMagic, by SplashData, doubles up your iPhone as a USB drive. The nifty app allows any user with a Mac or PC to have their iDevice act as a USB Drive. You may easily drag and drop the files into the desktop application which will then sync over to your iDevice. This is all done without the needless USB Drive, all you must do is have both the computer and iDevice connected to the same Wi-Fi network and click the sync button.

Password Protect Files

Once the files are on your device you may feel free to look at them straight from the iDevice. You may however NOT edit the files, you would have to get Documents to Go for that. The app is only $2.99 in the app store and comes with the free desktop companion, which is a great bargain for allowing your iDevice to function as USB Drive. There are many other free options but, they are usually full of glitches or require the USB. Another main plus is the feature of device to device transfer over Wi-Fi.
