Apple Secretly Purchases iPhone Cameras For iPod Video
The low end digital video camera industry is about to get turned upside down as reports from Asia indicate Apple has secretly purchased millions of cameras used in the iPhone 3GS for use in the next generation iPod Video. With expanded capabilities of light video editing and mobile uploading to video sites such as YouTube in the iPhone 3.0 software update, the cheap $10 dollar cameras embedded into the current iPhone 3GS phones and future iPod Video devices would help capture even more market share for Apple.
As TechCrunch says “If Apple added cameras to its line of iPods, there would be another 3+million of them hitting the market per month, and the low end of the digital video camera market could be crushed.”
One step closer to global domination.
